After years as a manager for major skincare companies in the Netherlands and Germany, Claudia wanted more. She needed to work directly with people. So she started her own salon, offering skincare treatments and massages.

For the first time, she could see what products actually did to real skin, day after day. She partnered with a skincare brand and became one of their distributors. But something bothered her – why weren't her clients seeing lasting results?

So she took a risk and moved to Spain to start fresh.

In Spain, everything collapsed at once. Her marriage ended. The bank took the hotel. The stress showed up on her face as severe acne she'd never experienced before.

Then came the loss that changed everything.

Arturo – the man she rebuilt her life with – died of blood cancer. There was never a single sign he was sick. Four days after his diagnosis, she brought his ashes home.

Everything she had was stripped away. She was left alone with two children, far from home.

In that grief, she understood something clearly: what's happening inside our bodies shows up on the outside. Her skin was breaking down because she was breaking down.

She moved her salon to a home office and started Vitaliderma – not as a business, but as a personal mission to heal skin from the inside out.

She began experimenting, testing formulas on herself. Her first creation was the Detox Swiss Cure – a blend of 20 medicinal plants to draw out toxins and let skin breathe again. When she tried it, something remarkable happened. Her skin started clearing. For the first time in years, she saw hope in the mirror.

Working with pure, natural ingredients meant challenges. Without harsh preservatives, some batches spoiled and had to be thrown away. But she was willing to make that sacrifice.

Claudia enrolled in an American university program to study the skin microbiome. What she learned changed everything.

The skin is the last layer we see. If it's not healthy, something inside is struggling. The microbiome – the invisible ecosystem living on the skin – is the key to everything.

When COVID hit, Claudia adapted. She created online trainings and redesigned her approach so people could use Vitaliderma at home. Healing shouldn't require a spa appointment. It should be possible in your own bathroom, every day.

Most skincare brands aren't designed to heal. They're designed to keep you buying. Claudia wants to change that – to help people understand the connection between body and skin, and fix the root cause instead of covering symptoms.

She's also working toward reversing Vitaliderma's environmental impact, including using ocean plastic for refillable packaging. She invests in ingredients, not fancy packaging. She chooses what works over what sells.

And she's just getting started.
